A luxurious, non-slip tallit made in Israel by Mishkan Hatchelet. Various tzitzit options available. In Hebrew this tallit is called Pe’er, or “splendor.” Plush, lightweight weave helps the tallit stay in place on your shoulders.

Ok, that happens. I then got the tallit faster than expected, because they had upgraded the shipping to First Class, instead of Standard, that I paid for. Excellent customer service.

[Almost all of the traditional wool tallits made by the leading tallit makers are the same width in sizes 55, 60 and 70. Notable exceptions are Chassidic tallits, which are wider, and the Kalil Lightweight tallit, which is narrower. – Ben]

This is the second Tallis I have ordered from Ben’s. Significantly less expensive than the stores I visited in Lakewood and Monsey. Comfortable and non slip. This is going to be my weekday Tallis. It is also lighter and smaller than the Shabbos Tallis that I got a couple of years ago, and love wearing, so it will be my travel Shabbos Tallis for vacations.

The tallit is gorgeous, and exactly as I hoped it would be. It is extremely well made, very beautiful and lighter than my previous tallit. It is also not as warm, which for me is a good thing. So, high quality and top notch craftsmanship. The thick ptil tekhelet tzitzits are perfectly tied too.

Arrived a little stinky, sort of like a fart but pretty sure that’s because of the wool. We aired it out and now it’s fine, smells completely neutral. However, it’s not really nonslip. My fiance tried it on and it was slipping off his shoulders and head. Maybe he needs to “break it in” a little.
