This tallis is really special, great for Shabbat/holidays. It's not really non-slip exactly, but definitely less slippery than a smooth tallis. The doubled fringes and the striping give it a really special look.
The only drawback is that the doubled fringes sometimes have a tendancy to loosen and come untied over time.
Ben was helpful and responsive via email in helping me select it, too.
Very satisfied with the talit and prompt service.
The non-slip nature of the weave, without being coarse, is appreciated.
The workmanship is superb.
When I received the Tallit in the mail, it was much nicer than I imagined it would be. The non-slip nature was perfect.
During Duchenen, the Tallit sit sexactly as I needed it to, without my having to make adjustments as I did with other tallitot.
The P'til Techelet received a lot of comments for their beauty.
I also want to complement the website for its ease of use and easy instructions and help links. I had a few occasions to trade emails with Ben Garson, and he was extremely supportive with answering questions and making sure I had the right result.
I would recommend Ben's Tallit Shop to everyone.
Even though I live in United States, I "go to Ben's" every time. Everything is done with quality and the utmost care. I have purchased several tallit, Sephardic and Ashkenzi, as well as tzitit. Always impeccable. Will use Ben's for tefillin and mezuzot as well. One of the best stores I have ever come across.
Excellent tallis with a soft feel and beautiful craftsmanship.
Highly recommend this tallit to anyone looking for comfort and beauty. I also had a tallit bag embroidered with my Hebrew name, and it turned out great!
A nice, quality tallis that is fitting for the silver Atara I was saving for many years. They complement each other extremely well.
The tallit arrived, and was even more beautiful than I expected. It doesn't slip, and despite its heft and substantial feel I don't find it too hot, even in the summer.
Shalom and Blessings, from Yukon, Canada. I am enjoying the new Tallit Hamefoar that we purchased from Ben's Tallit Shop. We are Davening in one of the remotest part of the world. It was good doing business with Ben's Tallit Shop. The Mitzvah of Tzitzit is being filled throughout the whole earth. Chen v'shalom aleychem (Grace and peace be upon you all)....
