Today, tallit bag makers work not only in velvet, but also a range of other fabrics, including wool, cloth, linen, impala, suede, leather, fur and raw silk as well.

Our raw silk tallit bags are designed in Israel by Yair Emanuel. Many of our raw silk bags feature a pearl white base color and vibrant colors. Yair Emanuel often employs Jerusalem scenes and pomegranate motifs.

Size – These bags are very slightly smaller than the typical velvet tallit bag, and fit most tallits up to size 70.  

Matching tefillin bag – Our collection of Yair Emanuel raw silk tallit bags are not available with a matching tefillin bag option (like almost all of the other bags we carry).

Custom letter embroidery – Raw silk tallit bags do not accommodate our embroidery machines well, therefore we do not offer custom name embroidery options on the product pages in this subcategory.
