Techelet Mordechai Tzitzit Strings

$22.00

Description

Techelet Mordechai is made using the same type of cuttlefish dye used to make Radzin Techelet strings. The manufacturer employes a special dyeing process to prevent the dye from running or smudging.

Set of 4 thick blue strings (unavailable in thin). Made under the kashrut supervision of the Shatz Badatz of Ashdod, headed by HaRav David Moskowitz.

Tying Customs:

If you have never tied techelet tzitzit, you may want to tie them according to the Raavad, Amram Gaon, Sefer HaChinuch or the Vilna Gaon.

If you know how to tie Chabad tzitzit, you can tie according to the Arizal. The Rambam custom can be quite difficult at first, and is not recommended for the uninitiated.

  1. Akiva

I didn’t know this brand, so I decided to buy it with white hand-spun thick strings. I must say that I’m very satisfied. The strings are very long and perfect for any tying style, leading to absolutely stunning tzitziot.

  2. Susan S

These Tzitzit strings are outstanding quality. The dye did not come off on my fingers when I tied them.
