Gabriel hand woven jet black tallit
This tallit is exquisitely crafted. It's much blacker than it looks in the photo on the website, which doesn't really convey the soft woven texture and thickness of the wool. If you’re looking for a black tallit with a hint of blue, this isn’t it, but the name does make this clear. Pay careful attention to the description when you select the width. As the drop down menu confirms, the narrower tallitot, and therefore all four tzitzit, hang in front. Choose a wider tallit to ensure that two of your tallitot hang at the back. The kippah is exiguous. BTS's guidance and customer support were exemplary.
I LOVE IT!
The beauty of this Tallit isn´t easy to describe in words or pictures and its uniqueness stands unchallenged. The composition of patterns and selection of colour is well planned and the weavingwork is excellent. As stated, the pictures doesent make justice to this black beauty, this Tallit must be seen IRL. It´s over the top in so many ways and makes Ezekiel a proud wearer every day.
Purchased this Tallit for use on Shabbat. The golden stripes compliments the Jet Black cotton fabric very well. Great job on the weaving!
