Product Description
New version of the 100% wool Chabad tallit using a special waffle-weave that lends this tallis a supple feel and helps keep the tallit in place on your shoulders. Includes all of the Chabad minhagim, including a rich striping pattern and a second tzitzit hole on each corner (as described in Shulchan Aruch HaRav).
According to the Chabad custom, the tallit comes with no atara (neckband); if you would like an atara, you can add one to your cart.
Tzitzit Notes:
According to Chabad the tzitzit are attached to two vertically aligned holes in each corner, rather than one, and they are tied according to a special custom knowns as "chulyot" (see smaller photo). Most of the tallits we sell are available with two holes upon request.
Lining Notes:
Those who adhere very strictly to Chabad customs will insist on the silk lining, but the cotton lining is more durable and less slippery, to help keep the tallit in place on your shoulders.
Size Notes:
The size 50 features a box weave (i.e. textured weave which is slightly more pronounced)

Excellent tallis

Classy talis
I enjoy davening in this talis which does not slip, as advertised. The only point keeping this from a pefect review is that the untied edges and silk lining for the head have a lot of loose threads.

Chabad Tallit
Our family lives Ben’s; they never fail to deliver exactly what was promised, and this lovely Tallit is no exception.

Tallit
The tallit was nice. The package came a bit late but not too bad. Although, the tallit itself had a weird smell. I'll let it air out a bit and hopefully it'll take the smell away.

Tallit gadol
Nicely made, especially the tzitziot. The only downside is the tendency to slip off off my shoulders. But that might just be down to my technique when donning it!
