    Product Description

    A popular supple wool tallit with light blue bands and silver pinstripes. Features textured, raised-grid weave that gives it an elegant “checkerboard” look and a non-slip tallit quality. This unique weave makes the Tashbetz Tallit very soft to the touch and a pleasure to wear.
     
    The name “Tashbetz” is taken from Exodus 28:4, which refers to “a tunic of chequer work.”  Tashbetz is also the name of a famous responsa by Rabbi Shimon ben Tzemach Duran of 14th century Spain.

      This tallit is even more beautiful than it appears on the website. We had a delay of a couple of weeks for the delivery due to the ongoing hostilities, but it was well worth the wait, and will be worn for the first time on Rosh Chodesh Kislev.

      Tallit is beautiful and comfortable. Unlike my previous tallit, I’m not constantly fighting with it to stay on my shoulders.

      This tallit deserves 10 stars out of 5. I consider myself a discerning consumer, but this is quite possibly the most beautiful tallit that I have ever seen!       Excellence in every way... Responsible, wonderful customer service. In addition the tallit is beautiful, of excellent quality and design. We are also very grateful with Ben because he had a problem with his credit card processor and despite that he prioritized shipping the tallit so that it arrived in time.
