I wanted a tallis that would be just transitional and basic, an every Jew's tallis, but this is also a gorgeous piece of textile work and a pleasure to wear. I don't know if it's any less or more slippy for the Tashbetz weave but I suspect it will be more comfortable as the season warms and it lays beautifully on the shoulders.
