Beit Yosef Prestige Tallit

I ordered this beautiful tallit with thick white tzitzit in the large size that I needed (80) in that I am about 6' 4" tall for use during the Yamim Noraim, when I have often served as a Ba'al Qriah. This size is not usually found in most stores where I live, so it was great that Ben's Tallit Shop offered it. Insofar as the tallit came just in the nick of time (no fault of Ben's Tallit Shop - U.S. customs held up the delivery), it greatly enhanced my observance of the Yamim Noraim. I look forward to wearing it again in 5785 and beyond and highly recommend both it and Ben's Tallit Shop (as well as their staff, particularly Jon Mintz) to all.

The Tallit itself is beautiful. Just simple, no blessing on the antara [atara] or images on the corners, just a plane [plain] prayer shawl. But, I'm not happy with the Tzitzit. I got the Radzin Techelet. The white strings are discolored, more light blue. So pay a little bit more and get the Ptil Techelet. And Ben is indead out of this world. I complained about it but no respond. [I apologize to Mr. Nederhoed if I didn't reply to his email. I don't recall receiving it. In any case, I second his grievance. Todah Ben! Halleluyah! Praise the Father Most High, for all the beautifully workmanship and efforts that go into these gorgeous tallitot. Was so thrilled when it arrived and absolutely love it and the softness of it every day in prayer. The pure soft wool will be a lazing to wear in winter time no doubt. This is the best tallit ever. the quality is superb. The non slip weaves are working well so easy to wear. Simple design but luxurious. I love it.

Although it was a bit on the pricey side, and the wait for the stock to come in prior to shipping was relatively long, putting all things into consideration, it was well worth it in the end! For many years I have been using Bet Yosef Tallitot, this last one the Bet Yosef Prestige is vastly improved, simply because it does not slip. The textured weave of the tallit makes this happen, way to go!
