The headline says it all! My only issue is that, after being tied, there’s always one much longer string left.
[The 'shamash' string is always extra long. They are made long enough so that those tying Sephardic 7-8-11-13 should have enough shamash string to work with. If you tie Ashkenazi, Rambam 7 or Sephardic 10-5-6-5 you are likely to wind up (no pun intended) with a bit of extra length. - Ben]
