Hamefoar Nonslip Tallit

My synagogue wanted to honor the Shul President for his many years of dedication to the congregation. They wanted to give him a tallit and have it for the Shabbat honoring him in 2 weeks!! I was able to use the Ben's Talit website to choose a beautiful Talit with the appropriate tzitsit, atara, and lining. The website has incredible details for each of these, and explains the halachic background for why we would make these choices. I even received a personalized email with answers to my questions within minutes and I am in California and they are in Jerusalem! The tallit came 5 days after ordering on a Friday afternoon!!! We are all most appreciative for the beautiful experience to help us provide such a meaningful gift. Arrived a little stinky, sort of like a fart but pretty sure that’s because of the wool. We aired it out and now it’s fine, smells completely neutral. However, it’s not really nonslip. My fiance tried it on and it was slipping off his shoulders and head. Maybe he needs to “break it in” a little.

Super fast shipping with the DHL option. I received the tallit before Yom Kippur and it was very special to me to get it then. The tallit is gorgeous, and exactly as I hoped it would be. It is extremely well made, very beautiful and lighter than my previous tallit. It is also not as warm, which for me is a good thing. So, high quality and top notch craftsmanship. The thick ptil tekhelet tzitzits are perfectly tied too.
