Tishrei 5784

Update: Operation Swords of Iron - On the morning of Shmini Atzeret, when we heard loud booms in the distance, and later warplanes overhead, we realized something ominous was taking place in Eretz Yisrael, and when Shabbat and Yom Tov ended we heard the astonishing, horrific reports. Obviously the current situation is quite fluid. We anticipate some challenges in terms of operations, but expect that we will be able to continue processing and shipping orders.

Tishrei 5784 / Sept.

Tishrei 5784 / Oct.

The fabulous holidays of the month of Tishrei — Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Simchat Torah — are almost upon us. All year round we try our best to process orders and get them dispatched as quickly as possible.

But during those three weeks, we are very limited in what we can do. We do not operate on Shabbos, Yom Tov, Erev Shabbos, Erev Yom Tov or Chol Hamoed. That leaves very few business days between 28 Elul (14 Sept.) and 23 Tishrei (8 Oct.).

Not only that, but even in the case of very time-sensitive orders (e.g. a bar mitzvah or wedding quickly approaching), if we make an extra effort to work on the order on an Erev Shabbos or Erev Yom Tov, almost all of the suppliers, shippers, stitchers, embroiderers and tzitzit tie-ers we work with are unavailable.

So please take into consideration, when placing orders, that during Tishrei the 3-5 business days we need to get a standard order ready can be much, much longer than 3-5 days!
