Softer than cotton!!
I'll admit it, I was skeptical like you. Could wool really be as soft and cool as my cotton t-shirt tzitzits!?! This is even softer!
I love the idea of being about to fulfill the mitzvah mid'orisa with wool but with the same comfort I've come to enjoy from cotton. It's a tad pricey (I got thick strings) but worth every penny. After all, tzitzis is an example of hiddur mitzvah! -
