    Product Description

    Large Kosher Rams Horn ShofarMoroccan ram's horn shofar. Black and tan streaks. Unique flat shape, and highly polished. Clear tone, easy to blow.

    The Moroccan shofar actually originated in Spain, where Jews persecuted by the Inquisition flattened the ram’s horn in order to better conceal it beneath their clothes. The Jews who fled the Jewish exclusion decrees arrived primarily in Morocco, bringing this unique shofar with them.
